I seem to remember that FOL's Tootie got picked for a film. Once she and Mrs. G arrived, they learned it was a child pornography film. Needless to say, they walked off the set and that was that. I'm surprised no one has mentioned it before.

I was just about to post this. And there was a reference to Playboy in an episode. I forgot the name of it, i think it was in "Ain't Miss Beholden".

It was not a film. It was a modeling gig. They wanted Tootie to be more sexy but Mrs. G put a stop to that.

Here's one a few of you might recognize:

In Season 4 of "Welcome Back Kotter", Epstein was placed in charge of the film projector. (Big mistake!

) He was supposed to put in it an educational film about sex-ed to be screened in front of a group of visiting teachers. What they saw instead was a porn film called "The Passionate Plumber". That was a great episode!

In the rarely seen Honeymooners 1970s special entitled "Women's Lib", the characters look inside a fictional porno magazine for ladies entitled Plaything magazine (it was a real Playboy magazine with the word Plaything pasted on the cover to cover up the Playboy logo)
