Most Shows that start as a mid-season replacement have atleast 13 eps, so the fact that TC had only 6 it's not really enough eps for me to make a determination on whether it's the best. Too short |

Either of these presents additional challenges and complications, so the easiest thing to do is to accept and treat Season 1 the way it is: a normal, independent, full Three's Company season. For the record, The Ropers also had a 6-episode-long Season 1, so Three's Company is hardly unique in having a Season 1 with 6 episodes. But that is just my opinion. In any case, I for one feel that having this debate is sort of pointless anyway. So, could we just drop this (i.e. I respect your opinion and you respect my opinion and we stop posting about this and cluttering this thread up)? I'm willing to if you're willing to also.

I was just like sitting there watching." |

I just bought Season 4 yesterday, and I've enjoyed every episode so far, the only one I didn't like was Jack's Bad Boy, it wasn't a good as the others, I think Season 8 is one of my favorites I love some of the storylines in that Season. I actually only saw 6 episodes from season 4 up until now because I like Terri seasons the best, so I'm just anxiously waiting for what surprises I'm in for
Janet: Something we could do for you Mr. Furley? Mr. Furley: Well, somebody stole my roses! Chrissy: What do they look like?

I bought Season 4 a couple weeks ago and must agree that it is very entertaining. The writing was very good and the casting of Ann Wedgeworth and Don Knotts to the show was excellent!

I liked the 4th season a little better than the eighth. The fourth season still
had Suzanne Somers and Furley wasn't as obnoxious as he was later on. The episodes on this season were really funny. The eight seaon was pretty good too but you can tell the show was getting close to the end. I really didn't care for the 7th season dvd and I almost didn't get the eighth seaon but they had bloopers on the DVD so I got it anyway. I was really surprised that the 8th season was alot better than the 7th. My favorite seasons DVD's are as follows: 1. 2nd season 2. 1st season 3. 3rd season 4. 4th season. 5. 5th season. 6. 6th season. 7. 8th season. 8. 7th season. I liked the Ropers alot better than Mr. Furley. Don Knots did his best, but in the later seasons it seemed that his character was laughing at Jack when talking about him being gay. It kind of turned me off. |

My favorite season was season 5. Season 8 was the weakest season imo, you could tell the show was starting to get old. It was time for the show to end.

Most shows in Britain have only 6 eps per season (or series actually)...
Some 8, some 10 or 12, but quite a few of them only 6. Each of the 6 series of Man About the house were only 6-7 eps long. And seasons 1-2 were the best cause they ripped the storylines off the British version! |
