And here I thought you and me were buds Lexy. Montys a big boy. He can handle his own discussions. He dosen't need his pet poodle watchdog to take up for him all the time.

And what's with the fish bit. It was complemental the first time but you're the one always talking about originality. Looks like your verbal judo went down to the chicken dance!

well i just hope that "ANY MEMBERS" who read this thread, who might fall into this trap sometime (of not actually debating someone, but simply insulting the person or of diversion) will try to make a concious effort not to

when i was captain of the debate team in college, the worst error anyone could ever make in a debate was to

focus on the person and not the issue
and
argue the messenger and not the message

its easy to do when people get all worked up, but in the end, it hurts your stand and makes your views look weak in the eyes of observers

Thanks for proving my point 100%!

I do not need to go on for 5 more pages, when I have someone come along and prove my point exactly!

What you seem to not understand is that no one cares how you think it should be run. All it does is make you look like a constant whiner. It's like the little 6 year old who doesn't get their way with his classmates in kindergarden so he continues to be a pest and a little tattle tail.

No, Bobby F--- YOU don't care how others choose to debate and disagree
that doesn't mean NO ONE cares---
read this thread, u will see that those who responded to it, agreed with me

and in real life, the kind of debating that "SOME PEOPLE" like to do, where they resort to personal attacks instead of logic, or "Low Blows" instead of facts, and "attacking the messenger" instead of addressing the message would never fly

if someone handled a problem at work like that, they would be fired
if a candidate handled a debate like that, he would lose
if my child tried to handle why he was in trouble that way, he'd get punished

i just wish everyone could act like an adult "online" as well as offline too

And for the record-- u have posted 5 times now on this thread, and not 1 time, have u actually addressed the issue or the point of it, the only comments u made at all
are just little jabs at me and cartoondvds? so i wonder 2 things--- 1. why even bother to join a thread if u dont care about the topic and just want to take potshots at those who do, and 2. how that looks to anyone who reads it?
