I remember that episode. The teacher was portrayed as being extremely dopey. That woman is on That 70s Show and she was also on Friends.

Oh Really? Well....

How about O.G.D

The girl gang who picked on 3J

The girl who stole Laura's jacket and then turned around and pointed a gun at Laura and threaten shoot her

How about the gang that beat up Eddie and then turned around and trashed "Rachel's Place."

How about Harriets and Rachels dead beat dad.

Do you need any more examples?????????

If I recall correctly the dead beat dad came back to reconcile, and of course he's gonna be black! It's their DAD

It's a black sitcom, of course the characters are supposed to be black, why is it the only time any white people are on that show is a negative potrayal? I gave a few examples of negative blacks and you did too....by the way I still have a much larger list than yours...kinda odd isn't it? That a black sitcom would have a lot more negative whites

and is it true that France only has black people? Because in the world of Family Matters....this is a fact

answer me those questions and your post might have some merit.
Maybe people would take you seriously if you didn't call them Stupid and Morans.

Frankly it doesn't bother me. People who let these things bother them have thin skin anyhow. I watch a sitcom because it's funny and I want to spend a half hour with these people. I don't pay attention to the race of the characters. I watch all kinds of shows. I've seen tv shows were it was the opposite , of course occording to you that doesn't matter. And for the record I don't consider all those shows racist either.

yes absolutely correct but according to these fools, it's okay for FM to be racist because there have been racist televison shows towards blacks too. That makes a lot of sense there...

You should check TV History before you make thread like this. Back in the day on TV and Film Blacks were shown in a negative light. And your whole thing about FM being racist isn't proven. And you wanted examples, I gave them to you.

Back in the day on TV and Film Blacks were shown in a negative light

I've asked a few times and I have yet to receive an answer. You know why? Because I never once said that...

I gave many more examples than you did....my point has been proven, others agree...

you also forgot to quote the part about me saying I'll come back with something if I'm insulted/attacked personally.

nice try.

lemme ask you fools who keep bringing up this "well there's racism towards blacks on televison too"

I never once said there wasn't racism towards blacks on TV. Not once, my point was/is that Family Matters is racist towards Whites. Your response is..."No it's not! TV is racist towards blacks too!!!"

Do you see how idiotic that is? You're throwing out random statements that nobody here ever said and when you think about it, you're implying that it's okay for FM to be racist against Whites because there is racism towards Blacks in other programs. Way to go guys!

This is my last post of this thread because I have no time to argue with an ignorant person. You asked for examples of black people shown in a negative light and I gave you examples and the fact that the only come back you have for me is "I gave many more examples than you did" shows how immature you are, AND you don't want to face the fact that I have proven you wrong. Like I said before, look back into history before you make idiotic post

And I didn't see anyone agree with you so far, So you must see some post that I don't see.

learn to read child

see Wawwie's posts and Brian Damage

why would anyone take you seriously when you don't even bother reading what everyone has to say!? I guess you only see what is convenient for you...sad.

you gave examples of negative blacks on FM yet the majority of negative people on this television show are WHITE

point proven, you didn't prove me wrong at all. I even named a few instances where there was a negative protrayal of a black person on the show....you didn't do much, gave a few examples, good job....yet the majority of negative peope on this show are WHITE

I won this one

I do think that most of the white characters on Family Matters could have been written better as they were portrayed in a negative light.
