thanks god for tivo, now we can skip that crap

i tend to watch the current shows in about 42 minutes per hour

i never watch anything live, always on tivo

even braves and packers games as well

this allows me to get entertainment jammed into my tv time, not adds, and fluff

Now, as far as the sitcoms, most of the time, like Joker said, its a who cares issue to me? You would have to know every line to get all the edits.

i agree on the music, i just received my season one retail of here come the brides

i have to sit and sing the song myself, since they cut it out on reatil as well as on reruns

the instrumental just sucks

but---as far as the show itself, i want the best quality possible, even if it means getting cut length

not hallmark length, but normal average cuts are ok, in exchange for better quality

I have bad new for you Lamont. We will not be able trade Crapola theater any more. Sony has just announced they will be releasing the first season on dvd, with a shipping date of July 2.

This will include the final episode of season one where Johnny Crapola, also known as Johnny gives a crap, is sitting on the potty, reaching for the charmin and is shot. In the version you have, when the forensic team comes in with the gas masks on, the scene ends. Here you get to see the entire mopup.

Sony wants to take advantage of the hysteria they produced in the 50's, and have a spinoff entitled "The Crapola's vs. Godzilla.

Special note to Soloman. Don't buy the set. Episode 5 is missing 1.8 seconds. From what I understand Wolfie has a 23rd generation tape, complete and is willing to ship. If your afraid of Wolfie you can get it on Loren's premium list.
Loren's has no menu but I'm sure Joker will make you a menu.

Harvey, can we see your PREMIUM list some day. It sounds like you have some interesting things stashed but don't want to share with the rest of us.

:Keep in mind that I'm almost all 50's and 60's stuff. Some of my recent stuff I just have shipped out, My Hero, My friend Flicka, Roy Rogers, Men in a suitcase, Men in space, Oh Susanna. Just picked up 132 of Rin Tin Tin, had yesterday sent 125 of the 127 Our Miss Brooks and 32 of the 36 Frontier Doctor. Today was sent the 12 Miss Marples by Joan Hickson and 21 dvds of Forest Rangers. Friday will be send full run of Richard Boone theater and 6 dvds of unaired pilots.

Got 8 disks of Playhouse 90 and another buddy is getting 20 eps of Dick Powell theater and 30 eps of Mr. Novak. All solid traders.

Just got the rare pilot of Whispering Smith.

nevermind, my bad.

I got a couple of letters mixed up in your earlier post ..... (something about Katie Couric bending over)

So I was curious about your OTHER premium list.

ok here it is

i have a 15 minute video clip of lamont turning down a trade for some silly show with 3 epsidoes and a 4 of 10 quality from the 80s, that was supposed to be so rare

for the first few minutes he looked like wimpy fonzie from happy days when he tried to say he was wrooooong

then his face got all friday the 13th looking

and then finaly he burst into convulsions similar to the guy-- junior from the coco puffs adds

it was the closest thing to human spontaneous combustion since the mike jackson pepsi commercial

oh the humanity

I don't believe you that Lamont turned down a trade. Just this morning someone offered Lamont a 30 minute clip of the authorities digging up the farm, looking for Hoffa's grave. Lamont traded for it and put it up on his premium list with one dvd of Johnny Crapola doing the Watusi.

the reason he wanted the dig footage is theres a small boy in the left side of the shot

lamont figured he would grow up to be soemone some day, and lamont wanted to become part of history

aftre all thats why a person watches tv, for the adds and the baby shots of people who become someone 40 years later

Now you make a lot of sense. Sure by the time Tv land gets a hold of it, surely they will delete the frame of the little boy taking a pee in the ditch. The kid could turn out to be a senator and a pee pee shot would be worth millions. That's the difference between you and Lamont, you have the foresight to think ahead and Lamont is just looking for 9th generation tapes.
