It's funny you say it was good up 'til the last 5 seconds, and that's the picture they chose to put on the dvd to play the episode, a dead guy.

Well there is a difference, there was a discussion of a FICTIONAL Death, The other posters were talking about REAL DEATHS so that's why I wanted to get back to the episode discussion. BTW, They actually show the photo of the OLd Man slumped over in the chair on the DVD before u hit play?

That's a great episode. The kids handled an adult situation without the help of their parents or Willona.

Yep, they show him sitting there dead as a doorknob. After I thought about it, I even thought that was........uumm..... different. You don't have the 3rd season dvd, huh?

To be honest, that's the MAIN reason why I never watch that show. My parents are still alive (they're in their 70's), but I've seen death around me that's similar to what Irene was talking about. Family dying all of a sudden. Just a couple of weeks ago, two cousins of mine died, a brother and sister. They were both sick, but still... And my uncle died a couple of days after Christmas last year. He was a teacher. He came home Monday, getting ready for football that night. Wife went to take a shower. She came to the living room and he was gone. Last I heard, she had started going to a doctor because she still can't get over him being gone.......................

OKAY, let's get off of death. Thought I'll share that one.

I didn't buy the season 3 DVD because I have the CBS versions on VHS of every episode from season 1 to season 6
