I never really sat down to watch it before, but when I did, I found it pretty damn funny. Plus, Amy Sherman Palladino of Gilmore Girls did some writing on the show, so that's a huge plus!

Darlene and Becky were 2 years apart. I dont know about Darlene and DJ, to me he wasnt addressed as much as Darlene and Becky.

Becky was about 2 years older than Darlene. D.J. was about 4 years younger than Darlene. For example, in season 8 D.J. starts high school, 9th grade. Becky and Darlene are teasing him about that in the season opener. Becky was 17, a senior in high school, 12 grade, when her and Mark eloped in the beginning of season 5. Darlene is a sophomore in high school, 10th grade, in season 5 when she decided she wants to go to the writing school in Chicago. She has her sweet 16 party that season also.
In real life, Becky's 2 years older than the role she played, Darlene's 3 years older, and D.J.'s about half a year younger.

Darlene was 11 years old in the first season and Becky was 13 years old so they were only a couple years apart from each other.
