Howie Mandel (pre-St. Elsewhere) was on the 1970s version of Make Me Laugh as well. And pre-Jeopardy! Johnny Gilbert was the announcer.

Bobby always had a smile and was happy when he appeared on any game show and i remember Make Me laugh.

Anyone remember a game show I think it was called The Liars Club, I know the word Liar was in the title ??

I remember there were three incarnations of the game show you mentioned titled "Liar's Club." All three aired in syndication with Rod Serling hosting the original in 1969, Bill Armstrong and Allen Ludden presided over the next version in the late 70s and the last was produced in Vancouver and hosted by Eric Boardman. Each version had a panel of four celebrities describing an unusual object and the contestants had too guess who was telling the truth. It was a very funny show and I hope someday it could be revived without being raunchy.

That's the problem these days with game show revivals, mostly--they all up the raunch factor in order to attract a younger audience. And most of the time, they fail miserably. While the '70s Match Game and the original Hollywood Squares all had their naughty innuendoes and double entendres'--they never really crossed the line so much that it veered in bad taste. Match Game '98 and the last HS revival--oh they made me sick. I'm afraid TBS' new take on Match Game will be just really awful. GSN's last attempt on I've Got a Secret was stinky poopy crappy!
