The way i understood it was that they never won the lottery that was just something Roseanne imagined. With the switching around of Becky and Darlene ,Mark and David i think is just silly, like someone said earlier when the show began it wasn't meant to end that way.
I guess they had to do something to boost ratings thats why they did the whole lottery thing but it defeated the purpose of the whole show.
It pretty much went downhill when Darlene went to college and they brought in Sarah Chalke.

Even though I know there are a lot of people who didn't like the whole Darlene/Mark and Becky/David switch at the end I honestly thought this to be more realistic that the "fictional" couples that we had come to know through out the series.

Jerry was not made up Roseanne herself mentions in her monologue 'And we didn't teach our daughters to sacrifice more than our sons'. As for Harris Conner Healy, the baby belonged to Darlene. She even says "And then Darlene had the baby and it almost died." As for who she had it with seeing as she mentions that Darlene and Mark were really a couple I would say that Mark was the actual father of the baby girl.
