did you see the Daily Show skit where the guy from the show was showing this NAACP guy the clip from Jessica's video in the bikini, and the guy was still acting really hardheaded and humorless over it when the guy was joking about "you know you'd wanna ride shotgun with her"

Come on!!! If you put a "KILL ALL WHITE PEOPLE" logo on top of a car and then put Beyonce or Tyra Banks in a bikini and washing the car, even the most hardened offended white person would be "HELL YEA!! HOT MAMA!!!"

As a white person from New York, I have no emotion connection to the flag one way or the other. But with what happened in the last presidental election, it is clear our nation is devided.

I have a proposal to the south, if you promose not to bring back slavery and segergation, you can have your independence, and you can have our president.

Beyonce who? Oh, that Destiny chick. Never had a thing for her. Tyra Banks? She's actually hot? I don't see it.

BTW, when Beyonce bumped and grinded at a show in front of Grant's Tomb once, some descendants of Civil War veterans - and maybe Stephen Stills - were offended, but a descendant of Grant didn't find it in bad taste. He thought ol' Ulysses S. would have loved it. Don't know about Julia Grant, the missus, who's buried beside her husband.

P.S., Buffy: Cut the superiority complex!

White quilt? No, my quilt is blue plaid. Got it at the bedding department at Macy's, I believe.

I once got offended when I saw a Puerto Rican woman wearing whiteface in NYC and I walked up to her to tell her off- until I realized she was only a mime.

And I guess it makes it almost makes about as much sense as driving through Compton with airbrushed illustrations of Trent Lott, Strom Thurmond, and David Duke painted on your pickup, which cranking "Sweet Home Alabama" up to 11 on your boom car stereo, loud enough to rattle everyone's windows!!

And don't ever, ever walk into a soul food joint dressed in a yachting uniform with a boombox playing Brooks and Dunn - or try to pay your bill with Canadian money!

I agree John - just like the original - it was all geared for guys mainly - fast, suped-up cars, the law and a beautiful woman.

Hell - I'm hetro female, but if seeing Jessica in a bikini washing that car doesn't do it for most hetro guys at least, they gotta be dead!

And really, she ISN'T as dopey as they let on - she plays that up a bit - so did Marilyn Monroe - its less "threatening".
