What is a Myles, you ask?
On "Moesha", everytime things got a little bit serious, Myles was always being sent to his room, and even when he did know better about stuff, he was always chastised or sent off somewhere. So Myles ended up smoking the wacky weed and this resulted in him getting psychological therapy in which he confronted his family for not really caring about him and taking him for granted. Just like Michael was. I'm surprised Michael didn;t end up the same way. He was just mad all the time on "Good Times". He was always told to shut up or to change his views even though in the long run he was right. It really ticked me off every time Michael said something with a lot of truth and sense, James was always threatening to put the belt to his behind. In some ways, I am like Michael myself- wise beyond my years, speaking the truth, and enlightened by the views of the world. My parents encouraged that because it shows that I was growing up. I wish that James and Florida had saw it that way too. |
