Possibly Kismet, but I think he was joking more about the question than the shows. Who knows really, I've never even heard of most of the shows, so most of it was lost on me.

One things for sure, I can't imagine him on American Idol as a judge!!

I think he's always a little sarcastic about ML, maybe he IS still angry about what happened afterwards with Cyb's book and everything ..
But hey sometimes you need to SNAP OUT OF IT!
Just my opinion....

He posted again implying that "Bruce Willis to block" would imply your career is on a downward slide. But I was very disappointed that he would lump ANYTHING Moonlighting in that category.

I didn't like that comment either.

I think Whoopi would take offense -- she was Center Square for two years -- I don't consider her career over, and I hope Whoopi doesn't either.

Like I said before... that's why I don't go to his board or chat anymore... Because I don't like the way he answers to people... I do think he's a little arrogant. At least for my taste! So I decided not to chat anymore... I prefer this board or Cyb's because we all know each other and it's like being at home!!

Bruce Willis has a right to be arrogant in many senses.

He at first had to put up with Cybil Sheperd who is arrogant beyond belief, and then he had established himself as a bankable star.

I don't see Cybill doing anything bankable since then (her series, umm no).

And now after all this time it appears that Bruce is still proud of Moonlighting (and he should be) and perhaps he is getting some grief from Cybill.
No matter how you slice it, he is the show, though the chemistry was excellent on screen, she is less important than him.

Probably what pisses her off to this day.

I really can't see the point in comparing the two of them... Did I say something about Cybill? I was talking about Bruce as a person AND as far as I know of him (Bruce live in the chat) I've never spoken to Cyb so I couldn't say anything about her, not in favor, neither against her.

I'm not being a tool here, you said that Bruce appeared a little arrogant and you felt more comfortable talking at Cybill Sheperd's site.

I don't think I was out of line but I truly dont mean to offend you either way.

What Carina meant (and just jump in if I'm wrong here) is that she liked this site and Cybs site better than Bruce's site, NOT because of Bruce, but because of the number of members.

Oh and another thing, I like Cybill Shepherd. She is one of the funniest people I ever met in real life. She may not have done anything "bankable" for tv lately, but she lives her life as she wants it. She is doing the things she loves and she is having fun. You don't need blockbusters to be important.

Thank you, Steph! That's exactly what I mean... I like this site and Cyb's not because of Cybill, but because of the people who make it! Well, because of us! hehehe

Didn't take offense dlemond, don't worry!

Cool.

I think Cybill is awesome in Moonlighting- how could you not think so?
But I hate the fact that Bruce and her don't get along.
It takes away from the magic of the show in that sense.

True dlemond, I don't get why their off-screen relationship turned out to be like that. Maybe it was stress from the show. Whatever happened, I hope they will forgive eachother.

Gotta disagree with you on a point or two, dlemond.

Bruce was not THE SHOW. The show was nothing without the two of them interacting. Cybill was just as important as Bruce in Moonlighting. Case in point - at least half of season 4!!!

How do you know she is arrogant? OR How do you know that BW isn't just as arrogant or more so? Do you know them personally?

Bankability in Hollywood has lots to do with age/gender. How many actresses over 40 do you consider bankable? Not many IF any. I love Meryl Streep, but when does just her name on a movie bring in the big bucks? But there seem to be many men who are over 40 and still rake in the multimillions.
