I usually always have the lights off at night when I watch TV....... It doesnt look as good to me with lights on...
During the day of course I dont have them on either....... |

I do have a small light on while I watch tv. If I get up to get something to eat, I don't want to tumble. Also the small light is easier on my eyes than just the tv screen for light.
