I tend to think the same way, always have. No, world peace may never happen, and yes, there are some awful people in this world... but there are also a lot of good people.

Also, I agree with Sonny (mr roper) in that you shouldn't be sorry for starting this thread or for the way you feel.

That's what the 60's was all about; "All You Need Is Love", "Flower Power", "Peace" and all that. But unfortunately it didn't work. But the idea was great. I'm afraid that as long as we are human beings it will never work! Too many conflicts in opinions. But I sincerely believe that it is the parents job to teach their children respect for others. It doesn't always work but it is a good beginning.

The glass is always half-empty. And cracked. And I just cut my lip on it. And chipped a tooth.

I set a glass down on a table once and it cracked and glass went flying everywhere and I still have a scar from a piece that cut me.

i have a scar from when my brother put the lightbulb of a hot lamp on my leg and it burned some of my skin off. that lamp is evil and cursed. one time i put a pencil on it and it started steaming after a few seconds.

World peace will never be accomplished, but world tolerance can. Unfotunately with the current population of the planet, I doubt it's going to happen anytime soon.

I just think that everybody should just try to get along with each other here. I know i don't really know many of you here but i think that some of you seem nice. I am a good person and a good friend. I know that not everybody is going to like me.
