When do you think 227 jumped the shark? I think it did from Day One. It was a rip-off of The Jeffersons.

Both shows existed on different planes. Florence and Mary Jenkins may have had some similarities, but both shows were different. You never saw a woman on the Jeffersons wiggling back and forth or Lousie and Helen sitting in front of their building dishing the lastest gossip. The Jenkins were middle class while the Jefferson were high class people. 227 was a good show and did well in the ratings it's first season. It is one of my favorites.
