Question Anybody remember Disney Channel's "Flash Forward"?

It was on Disney in the original run during the 1995-96 TV season and was on in reruns (still on Disney) until maybe 1999 or so, shortly before Disney went ZoogDisney for a while.

It was a Canadian TV show that only lasted one seasn with 26 episodes, if I remember correctly. It was a really great TV show about four 8th graders and they were the following:

Jewel Staite as Becca Fisher, a tall white girl w/ long mousy brown hair who lived right next door to Tucker James. She was your typical goody two shoes girl with a b*tchy older sister.

Ben Foster as Tucker James, who lived next door to Becca. In fact, their bedroom windows faced each other and they would have many conversations late at night. He was your typical goofy prankster guy that would always get the crew into trouble.

Asia Vieira as Christine Harrison, Becca's best friend. Very beautiful skinny Asian girl who was a lot like Becca in so many ways.

Theodore Borders as Miles Vaughn, Tucker's best friend. He was a black guy who kept his cool. He was a prankster too, but knew where to draw the line. He was the one that always got Tucker out of trouble if Tucker got himself into trouble.

I'm not sure how to explain it, but this TV show was really great. It was like the Canadian version of Lizzie McGuire, but w/o the cartoon and it only lasted one season. I was so disappointed when it went off, because it was so cool to watch.

I thought it was really neat how they started the show with that "FLASH FORWARD" logo. I still can't understand why they cancelled it. It was a great show and had so much going for it. I've noticed how a lot of Canadian shows never last that long in the US, like "Space Cases", "So Weird" and stuff like that. I think it's stupid because I think Canadian TV shows are just as cool. I mean, Canada was the one that brought us 1981-93's "You Can't Do That On Television" and it was a HUGE hit in the US.

Oh, well. I thought Tucker was cute in a goofy way.

Jewel Staite is just as pretty as she was when she was on "Flash Forward". Hard to believe she's 21 now.

This show was AWESOME!!

Tucker: You heard what they said...no parties at YOUR house...so we'll have a party at my house!!

I watched it religiously when it was on! *tear* the memories...hahah and the cool book episode...I believe I was in grade 6 when I decided to copy that and start my own 'cool book' for my class! LOL

OMG...I remember that ep sooooo well! Nobody wrote anything about Tucker, so Tucker stole it and wrote different things about himself in his part of the Cool Book... Man, it's been AGES....

I was just a grade behind you in school when "Flash Forward" was on - that would have been 5th grade. I miss 1995-96!

and sum more episodes I love:

the one where Tucker and Becca have to take care of their baby(a doll from a school project) and Tucker like burns off the arm and gives it a monster claw hahah.

and when they have the mud slide party! That looked like so much fun!

I remember watching that show all the time! I think I was in 4th grade? I always watched ABC Saturday mornings and would get so excited when it came on. I think after that was this claymation show...GAH I forgot what it was called, but it was this green alien dude...ahh that makes me mad that I forgot what it was called.

Any way...I watched Flash Foward when the reruns played on Disney too.

Good show.
