He reminds us of Oscar the Grouch on Sesame Street. His look though smaller is reminiscient of Oscar. And especially Floppy's voice and cynical personality much like Oscar's.

Mr. Floppy does sound similar to Oscar. His conversations with Jack were always worth seeing. I haven't seen that many shows but from what I've seen Jack and Mr. Floppy seem to have at least one conversation per show.
