Lost in Space, Season 1 dvd set pulled from Amazon and other sites!
In really depressing news, I see that both Amazon.com and DVDplanet haved pulled their "Lost in Space, Season 1" sets from pre-order. Originally, Amazon had been showing a release date of January 2004. Now they've completely pulled the set off and the note they leave in its place seems to indicate that the set is NOT even in production at this time, and consequently may not come out at all. Bummer.

A glimmer of hope
I've heard from one source that the sets were pulled off amazon.com because FOX was upset that amazon.com jumped the gun on a release date and pricing. The fact is, this set is probably still a go, but we'll have to wait until an official announcement is made.
