Actor Robert Stack, whose career spanned 6 decades and included film and television, died today of a heart attack at his home in Beverly Hills,CA. He was 84 years old. Robert was best known for his 1959-1963 TV series, The Untouchables, which Robert played Elliott Ness, who always got the bad guy at the end of the show. From 1968-1971,he starred on the TV series,The Name Of The Game, where he played an advertising agent. The most recognizable role for Robert in the past decade or so was the TV program, Unsolved Mysteries, which ran from 1990 to 2002 on CBS, NBC and Lifetime. He will definitely be missed!!!.

I couldn't believe that Robert Stack was 84 years old either,I thought that he was younger than that. I never watched The Untouchables, but I did watch Unsolved Mysteries which dealt with missing people and their stories and he did a great job hosting and narrating the show. He will be missed greatly!!!
