How in god's name could this happen? Oliver Beene is TERRIBLE! This is like Freaks and Geeks all over again, an amazing show subjected to the evil whims of un-intelligent network executives. After Buffy went down the tubes I needed a new favorite show, and I was really rooting for Andy. Please bring it back, Andy Richter Controls my Heart.

Andy Richter Controls the Universe is the only show since Newsadio ended in 1999, that makes me laugh. It makes me mad to think that an intelligent show like Andy Richter gets canceled (or at least on hiatus) while FOX brings us crap like : "Oliver Beene", "The Pitts" and "Wanda at Large" as replacements.

Another thing that ticks me off, is that FOX is releasing Firefly on DVD. That show didn't make a full season, and they're already releasing it on DVD. Why not release ARCTU? That's a show that needs to be on DVD. Afterall, there are still five unaired episodes of "Andy".

I know, if it isn't a reality show, FOX won't show it. I am really pissed at FOX actually, because shows like King of the Hill and The Simpsons (I like both, but they are getting up there) were lower in the ratings than ARCTU, yet they arn't even close to being cancelled.

I'm really surprised Sci Fi channel didn't pick that up. They really enjoy showing network rejects. Firefly wasn't a bad idea, but FOX never gave it a chance.

Same with Andy Richter. Here was a show that was great from episode one, yet for some reason FOX never had any faith in it.
It amazes me that someone at that network actually thought vile unfunny garbage like "The Pitts" would be a viable alternative to "Andy."

Please don't let me go on anymore about FOX. It's too damn frustrating!!

I actually liked the first episode of Firefly. My anger isn't towards the show, it's my resentment that this series, only half a season (I think) gets to come to DVD. While Andy Richter just vanishes without a trace. Maybe they will release Andy Richter on DVD. That would be great. It made 19 episodes. I remember watching Absolutly Fabulous (Ab Fab) on Comedy Central years ago. That show only had 18 episodes (up until a couple years ago). That show remained funny. So if Andy comes out on DVD, then at least you know it'll be 19 hilarious episodes of a show that never got tired.
