Replaced With "California Dreams" - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Does anybody have an official reason why all locals/WGN are replacing "City Guys" timeslot with "California Dreams." It seems a little fishy because both are them are from the same production company- like "Saved By The Bell," and other teen NBC shows.
