SINGING SUPERSTAR WHITNEY HOUSTON TO PERFORM/GUEST STAR ON ‘BOSTON PUBLIC’ SEASON FINALE MAY 12 ON FOX

When a student writes a 10-page letter to Whitney Houston asking her to attend the prom with him, faculty and students are amazed when she accepts the invitation. At the sight of Whitney, Aisha (Tamyra Gray) gets stage fright about singing in front of her idol so Whitney gives a surprise performance of “Try It On My Own” (her current single from her new album “Just Whitney”). Meanwhile, Harper presents a radical way to prevent the firing of teachers for budget reasons; and Claire arranges for Hanson to have lunch with her father so Danny can ask permission for marriage in the “Chapter Sixty-Six” season finale episode of BOSTON PUBLIC Monday, May 12 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
