I'm looking for information on the episode that has Barney trying to recite the Preamble to the Constitution. Can someone help me?

According to the SEARCHABLE MAYBERRY FAQ's at
http://www.zille.com/griffith/ Q. What episode was it when Barney recited--or tried to--the preamble to the constitution? A. The episode title is "Opie's Ill-Gotten Gain" and its episode #103. Air date November 18, 1963. This is the episode when Miss Crump mistakenly gave Opie straight A's. He actually had not gotten all A's. In fact, he got a F in arithmetic. If you liked that, there's also an episode of The original "Andy Griffith Show" where Opie is having trouble in history class, so Barney takes the opportunity to show off his knowledge. When Andy takes him up on his offer to answer any question about history, he stumbles over the Emancipation Proclamation. I think the episode is Episode 86: "Andy Discovers America". |
