Default Rugrats going too far?

I personally think all this Rugrats All Grown Up and stuff is a little too much.

Dill was cool, Kimi was all right... and now this babysitter... I think it's ODed if you're asking me. I heard they were thinking of adding yet another character! I perfer the old gang myself. Though I have to admit the new theme is much better than the first.

I haven't really watched the Rugrats in quite awhile, but I did see the first ep to that All Grown up thing. I didn't think it was any good, imo. I haven't watched any of the eps they're doing now, but I will admit they like to add characters that shouldn't be added.

Eventhough over the years, I have watched it often, it’s kinda getting old

Once they added Dill, the show went downhill. The animation got worse (PBS style animation now ... excluding ARTHUR, whose animation is a lot better than BERENSTAIN BEARS or SAGWA) and the storylines are terrible.

Personally I prefer the really really reall old eps of the Rugrats much better....... 1991,1992,93 94 era.... after that the show went downghill to me! I didn't really like that first ep of all grown up either.... it was boring.

I guess that just sticking with the original characters would have the show get old pretty soon, but couldn't they come up with better characters than Dil? Not to mention better storylines?

It's gotten out of hand. I had no idea that ALL GROWED UP was an actual series. What's wrong with them as babies? Now they're releasing a movie where they meet the Wild Thornberries. C'mon! Sonn it will be Rugrats meet Batman and Robin. Rugrats meet Harlem Globtrotters. Etc..

Cool! Back in my day - the 70's - that's how things were done. Everybody met batman and the globetrotters - and all was well.

That'd be kind of cool if they met Batman and Robin. Maybe get Adam and Burt to do the voices for B & R.

Rugrats is going the way of Scooby Doo!!!

Now they're releasing a movie where they meet the Wild Thornberries.

So, the voice of Angelica and the girl in TWT will be the same? That's gonna be odd...

What are you guys complaining about?!!!

This show is geared to toddlers, and little 4-8 year olds. Of course, you guys aren't going to like it. Grow up! You guys sound like old 30-40 year olds complaining about how MTV isn't cool anymore!

There's no age limit set for watching a certain network or show. I'm 17 and hell, I hate almost everything on MTV but Road Rules and RW/RR Battle of the Sexes. They put on all these Sorority Life/Frat Life/True Life/etc. crap on and leave the videos for really late at night. And no, TRL does not count because they only show like a minute of the actual video.

So YOU grow up and realize that different people like different shows and that not all people have to follow the trend of what's hip at the time. If you like a certain show or network, you certainly don't want it to completely shift gears and go in the opposite direction.
