I last heard that Hello Larry aired in syndcation in 1991, and in South America for a long period in the 90's. I don't think it plays anywhere now though.

I think it would be tough to put Hello Larry in syndication, because I believe it only lasted one or two seasons, probably only about 20 episodes in all. It was a very short lived series. Usually a show reaches syndication after its 3rd or 4th year (70 or more episodes). If they were to syndicate Hello Larry, they would end it up showing the entire series in one month, which would get old very fast.

There are 35 Hello, Larry episodes (if you count the Diff'rent Strokes crossovers) so it was on for about a season and a half. It's one of those shows like Fish or That's My Mama (which was shown in Atlanta a few summers ago) that is available for syndication but very rarely gets played due to the low number of episodes.

Thanks for the correction, and yes I could see them doing it during a summer break with 35 episodes. That would also depend on whether the programming exec thought that there would be enough people tuned in. I personally liked the show, and thought that the networks should have kept in on longer than a season and a half.

On my left, I saw days upon days of lipstick and ticking clocks, dirty looks and quiet whisperings. And burning secrets that just won't ever die away. And on my right, what could I picture? The blue sky, the desert earth, stretching out into the eerie infinity. A beautiful never-ending nothing.

Well no one would be forcing you to watch it. And if you hate it so much WHY are you posting at the board devoted to it?
