Nitpicking - "Ed" 4/4 episode - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

First of all, I really liked last night's episode. It was great to see Christopher Lloyd back on the small screen.

However, here's the problem I had.
Why wasn't there a scene with Stella and Carol?
Stella is moving back to Boston to get her life back in order, and there's no scene with her saying goodbye to Carol?

They're sisters for crying out loud!

Not only that, but Stella wants to become a teacher. Carol is a teacher, couldn't they have talked about that? Jeez!
If you never saw an episode of "Ed" before last night, you would never know they were related.

Other than that, I'm looking forward to next weeks finale.

I missed seeing "Reverend Jim" back on TV? D'OH!!!

I thought it was going to be yet another Ed-Carol episode, so I didn't even bother taping it. I've really lost interest in this show and I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't come back next season. Ed deserved a much better fate!

Yeah, Stella was just thrown in to give some sort of close to some sort of side chapter of Warren- like we gave that much of a crap about that.

I think it was more of a move back to basics- the writers and producers know they have not played nice with the audience with the Ed and Carol thing.

They dragged it on, brought in suitors, sidetracked with Warren and his neurosis, screwed around a bit with Molly (and never really finished that) toyed with Mike's practice and then partnership, and hey here's Eli, and- they just never really had a clear vision in what they were doing.

To quote paraphrase Yoda,

"Never their mind on where they were! Hm? What they were doing!"

who do you think ed should be with carol or frankie?
i kinda sucks if he justs dumps frankie and gives carol a chance. but i think carol and ed belong together

Personally, I'd like to see him with Molly. I think they have some chemistry, the rare moments we see them together.

I think Ed is going to choose Carol, but before he can tell Frankie, Frankie is going to leave Ed and had back to her ex in Houston, giving Ed clear sailing to go back to Carol.
