YouTube getting cocked.
>>> In a significant boost to NBCUniversal‘s streaming fortunes, the media giant has set an agreement to bundle Peacock with YouTube Premium. As part of the overall arrangement, the companies agreed to extend NBCU’s distribution deal with YouTube TV, which was renewed in 2025.<<< https://deadline.com/2026/07/nbcuniv...le-1237004321/ |

YouTube Premium should be included for free with YouTube TV. All they do is keep raising the price while removing channels from their lineup.
I'm using Premium Lite for $7.99/month. It's being raised to $8.99/month next month. I don't think YouTube Premium would be worth it me for $15.99/month. |

I would probably watch Peacock if I can ever claim the Peacock Premium for no extra cost reward as a Diamond Xfinity member (Comcast customer since 1987). |

All these different services and what they offer is so confusing to me. I miss the days of just having DIRECTV and a DVD player.
I only subscribe to Disney+/Hulu and Peacock and even that is too expensive. I’m able to use my friend’s Paramount+ but I hardly ever use it. Most of the time I just watch free stuff on Pluto or my DVDs. |

I forgot to say, one good thing about Peacock, even on the ad tier, is major movies run ad free after 90 seconds of ads at the beginning (easily skippable with muting or directing your attention elsewhere for 90 seconds)

I was finally able to claim my reward for free Peacock Premium yesterday after three years of being unsuccessful. I was able to unlink my account and then log in to Peacock to claim the perk.

Speaking of pacts, I got an e-mail yesterday about YouTube TV being available to Xfinity members.
They have it for $72.99/month instead of $82.99/month. Now available to Xfinity members: YouTube TV Save $10/mo for a year - that's 15% in savings from YouTube. Restrictions apply. Not available in all areas. Requires Xfinity internet, an eligible Google account and a current form of payment. YouTube TV Discount: Must be a new YTTV subscriber. Offer expires if not activated within 30 days of purchase. See details & restrictions. |
