Proving that one is never too young to headline their own series, Fox and Hulu have given a two-season order to "Stewie", a spinoff of global juggernaut "Family Guy" centered on the Griffins’ evil genius toddler son.

The new animated comedy, which will follow Stewie in preschool and explore time and space travel, comes from creator Seth MacFarlane and 20th Television Animation. It is targeted to premiere on Fox during the 2027-28 season, streaming next day on Hulu and internationally on Disney+.

"Stewie" Sets Voice Cast

Fox, Hulu and 20th Television Animation have assembled the voice cast of the upcoming "Family Guy" spinoff Stewie, which includes titular star Seth MacFarlane pulling a double voiceover duty and Mike Henry voicing someone related to one of his signature "Family Guy" characters.

MacFarlane will also voice Bean, Stewie’s man-of-very-few-words classmate who was dropped on his head one too many times.

Stewie (MacFarlane) is forced to enroll in a new one that’s not exactly top-of-the-line. It’s attended by a handful of kids he doesn’t know, an elderly class turtle (Lee) with a half-cocked theory on just about everything and a teacher (Bayer) who probably shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near kids.

Stewie’s miserable, the other kids are miserable, even the turtle is miserable … until Stewie begins rolling out his trusty array of devices to take them anywhere in space and time, turning every boring day at school into an insane and unforgettable adventure.

- Mike Henry voices BJ, Stewie’s gossipy new classmate, and son of Family Guy‘s Bruce, a neighbor of the Griffins, who also is portrayed by Henry.

- Kenan Thompson (SNL) voices Royal, one of Stewie’s new friends who’s got a “Hell no” attitude about the hazards of Stewie’s adventures.

- Vanessa Bayer (SNL) voices Morgan, Stewie’s teacher, who should probably spend more time watching the kids, and less time partying.

- Melissa O’Neil (The Rookie) voices Wanda, Stewie’s intellectual soulmate and object of affection.

- Jessica Lowe (Miracle Workers, The Righteous Gemstones) voices Caroline, a wannabe influencer and Stewie’s formidable classroom nemesis.

- Aaron Lee (Family Guy, The Cleveland Show) voices Skunk, the hundred-year-old class turtle.
