A WORKAHOLIC DAD TRIES TO RE-CONNECT WITH HIS WIFE AND FAMILY, ON THE NEW ROMANTIC COMEDY, "LOST AT HOME," PREMIERING TUESDAY, APRIL 1 ON THE ABC TELEVISION NETWORK
PREMIERE A workaholic dad struggles to re-connect with his wife and family - the family his wife has raised virtually single-handedly -- in "Lost at Home," a new romantic comedy premiering on the ABC Television Network, TUESDAY, APRIL 1 (9:30-10:00 p.m., ET). Mitch Rouse ("The Secret Lives of Men"), Connie Britton ("Spin City") and Gregory Hines ("The Gregory Hines Show") star. In the premiere episode of "Lost at Home" -- "Pilot" - we meet Michael Davis (Mitch Rouse), an ad agency superstar with a fancy title and ambition to spare who thinks he has it all. He's a great provider, and is proud of the restored farmhouse where his stay-at-home wife, Rachel, and their three kids - teens Will and Sara, and seven-year-old Joshua -- live in a beautiful country setting, while he commutes to work in Manhattan. But somewhere on the road to fame and fortune, and the endless workdays it took to get him there, Michael lost touch with his family. He gets a wake-up call when Rachel announces that he's allowed to love his work, just not more than his family. She's seen a lawyer - and unless he reconnects with his family, she's going to leave. Michael wants to earn back the love of his wife and the trust of his kids, but he's a fish out of water in his own house. He's been away so long he doesn't even know how the kitchen appliances work. The winning strategies that have made him a success at work are surprisingly useless at home. But he's determined to try and win back his place in the family. His boss and best friend, charismatic ad agency owner Jordan King (Gregory Hines), reluctantly agrees to give him less work. Michael begins a heartfelt journey to be defined by his success as a family man, and not just a businessman. "Lost at Home" stars Mitch Rouse as Michael, Connie Britton as Rachel, Gregory Hines as Jordan, Stark Sands as Will, Leah Pipes as Sara, Gavin Fink as Joshua and Aaron Hill as Tucker. "Pilot" was written by Michael Jacobs and directed by Andy Cadiff. Michael Jacobs ("Boy Meets World," "Dinosaurs," the feature film "Quiz Show") and Tony Jonas ("Queer As Folk") are executive producers of "Lost at Home," from Touchstone Television in association with NBC Studios. "Lost at Home" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format, with 5.1-channel surround sound. A TV parental guideline will be posted closer to airdate. |
