This one is really difficult for me to believe. The UM segment is quite a bit different from the Paranormal Witness segment, but maybe that's just tv show stuff. My big thing is instead of calling a plumber, inspector, news channel, etc, these people ran for their bibles. Not one picture to show, not that a picture would show much but most people would have been taking pictures of this stuff. And don't give me "this was 1983". I was a kid in 1983 and we all took plenty of pictures and every house had a camera and an envelope full of negatives. All we have is a story from a handful of people telling their story 10 years and 30 years later. I'm not buying it.

I used to believe this case until I thought harder about the lack of photographic evidence. The incidents happened in multiple locations with multiple witnesses. This was 1983, not 1923. So, the claims are either highly exaggerated or nothing happened, period.
That said, this remains my most watched segment next to The Mann Family/Lake Wales Haunting. |
