Just to put this out the open, because I’m pretty sure it’s obvious by now to a handful of people: I’m AKA. That account isn’t banned, and I don’t feel unwelcome here. I wish I felt comfortable using that account, because I still like the name and there’s a lot of history under that account, but I’m 46 years old now, in very poor health, and don’t feel like dealing with baggage from things I wrote half my life ago when I was a different person. The last time I came back using AKA, someone came out of the woodwork under a sock puppet trying to settle a score from 20+ years ago. I still don’t know who it was, and it kind of icked me out.

I was a huge ***hole 20 years ago, and I said and did a lot of things I regret. But I was still a kid, more or less, and would like to put that all behind me and enjoy whatever life I have left with as little drama as possible. I’ve apologized many times for my childishness, cynicism and sometimes downright cruelty from my early 20s. I’ve only recently realized I don’t need to apologize anymore; people can accept my apology or they can’t. That part of the process isn’t up to me. But the apology itself still stands.

Well we heard from Misst3 , she said she had some health issues. But that was a while ago now. Prayers she is well. One of the sweetest people here on S.O. Misst3 was a regular on the A to Z games, she's very missed.
