To be honest I had never heard of Tori Amos before so when I was in Wherehouse Music many moons ago I found Tori Amos's 1994 album Under The Pink and bought it and was amazed at Tori's unique sound. I then dug out my copy of Under The Pink today and I was surprised at Tori's songs and based on liking that album I got more of Tori Amos's albums. Was Under The Pink the album that made Tori Amos a bigger household name upon it's release in 1994? And what songs were released as singles from Under The Pink? I do know that a song named Cornflake Girl was released as a single in the UK and the song Pretty Good Year was also a single in America

Under the Pink was her second solo album, and it performed well, but Little Earthquakes (1992) was her breakthrough. It spawned the hit singles “Silent All These Years” and “Crucify.”
I recommend looking up these albums on Wikipedia for answers. You’ll get better, more detailed answers there than here. |
