What is the single worst episode in the entire series

I like Home Movies too. It was so freaking cutting edge for a sitcom to be discussing a porno movie and getting ready to watch it. It was 1977 or something. Unheard of at that time.

Maybe I'm a tad bit out of the loop, what why exactly are the "Old Folks at Home" and "Jack's Other Mother" episodes apparently so disliked? Incidentally, both episodes involve Jack having to deal with an intrusive elderly person in the apartment. In particular, it seems like viewers have a real axe to grind with the Leo character from the "Old Folks at Home" episode.

Strange because I sort of agree with this list. IMHO seasons 1-3 cannot do any wrong but something about Jack's Navy pal irks me to not want to watch it. It actually starts out really funny with the Ropers in their apartment. Something about them letting this guy destroy the apartment gets on my nerves. Its a rarity that I dont like an episode from that season.
The Bob and Carol show was just dumb. Anytime a sitcom introduces characters where its implied we know them rarely works. Although I would probably pick "A Night Not To Remember" before this one for season 7. Anytime the writers take a character and make them someone else ruins it for me. In this episode Jack is a mean drunk. I dont care for Janet wigs out. Janet becomes a slutty blonde because of a wig? Only to be outdone by Terri falling in love with Jack over a plastic mustache. Seriously!

I can completely get and understand why people don't like the "Jack's Navy Pal" episode because Jim Walsh, the blind guy who served in the Navy with Jack, gets no comeuppance despite the fact that he acted like a complete and unapologetic jerka** the entire episode. I don't know if Walsh was allowed to get away with his behavior because in the writers and producers' mind, him being blind is "punishment enough". But even with his blindness, Walsh nonetheless, uses his disability to manipulate Jack and those around him. I also don't know if this was Three's Company's attempt at doing something along the lines of a dark comedy but that is absolutely what a show like Three's Company normally isn't about.

And as others have said and argued, the "Janet Wigs Out" episode is just plain and flat out weird. And not "weird" in a bizarrely funny kind of way like the episode from Season 5 where Jack has to trick Mr. Furley into thinking that he has an identical twin brother named Austin. Why exactly would Janet suddenly act conceited and completely out of character just for putting on that blonde wig?

Also, why would Janet suddenly want to be a blonde in the first place. It's not at all like she was previously envious of other women who happened to sport blonde hair like Chrissy, Cindy, and Terri. Is Janet that desperate to find a man that she'll go out of her way to make a complete and utter fool out of herself to hopefully achieve that goal? Again, as others have pointed out, the whole "Janet Wigs Out" episode ultimately came across as if Janet was having an existential crisis instead of being an actually funny storyline.

The "Babysitters" episode from Season 2, where Jack and Chrissy are saddled dealing with a crying baby. I guess, I hate sitcom episodes that deal with obnoxiously crying babies. It just feels like such a cliched, almost lazy type of thing to do for comedy.

That episode really is a timestamp on sitcoms. The baby is so fake and the baby crying is a man trying to sound like a baby. Like they could not use a recording of a real baby crying? When Suzanne first meets "the baby" in his room with his mother the "baby" is standing up almost a toddler in a play pen. The next scene he is an infant wrapped in a blanket

I've watched every episode of Three's Company at least 100 times each, over the last few decades. The only episode I never rewatch is season 8 "Like Father, Like Son". I don't find it funny at all.

I love “Helen’s Job” - but they should have stayed out of Helen’s life, though.

The one episode I never watch is the one with Janet’s sister. Janet was a monster in that episode and I never would have forgiven her if I were Jack.
