Let's explore the future of baseball's development pipeline and speculate what the minor leagues might look like without Single-A and a shortened draft.

Central to our conversation will be a concept I call "development offloading." To save money, MLB could entertain more reliance on college baseball to carry out the development of players.

We'll also dive into the financial world of college baseball (revenue share, NIL) and whether offloading this development is net positive or negative for players.
