I recently read Barbara preferred to wear her hair in a Pixie (short) hairdo ... and we are most always seeing her with a Long Blond Wig

Two things to know about Barbara Eden,
1) her hair was closely cropped, everything else was a wig. Very popular choice in the sixties.
2) her husband, in the funny hat, was ginormous.

Yes, Barbara Eden wore hairpieces and wigs throughout the run of I Dream of Jeannie. While her real hair was short, hairpieces and falls were attached to the top of her head to create her signature braided ponytail. Additionally, she wore a dark wig whenever she played Jeannie's evil twin sister

Key Details:

The Ponytail: Eden's natural hair was only about 4 to 5 inches long. To achieve Jeannie's iconic, sky-high ponytail, producers used extensive hairpieces, falls, and "nailed" them to the top of her head

Elaine Giftos was on I Dream Of Jeannie too. She has always been one of my favorites.
Karen Sharpe was on IDJ , she was a bit older than her cute westerns shows she did earlier. IDK , maybe she just looked different on IDJ. Wasn't Leslie Parrish on IDJ?
