The site uses cloudfare also and I didnt think cloudfare allowed a site to allow HTTP also..

EMD allows both http and https....

I don't know Edwin. I remember visiting his forums many years ago. Are you sure his last name is Haywood? Someone mentioned Edwin Hayward in this thread.

I see an Edwin Hayward from the UK who is very active on X/Twitter (https://x.com/edwinhayward?lang=en) and Bluesky https://bsky.app/profile/edwinhayward.com). It looks like he owns many domain names and sites (https://www.emailaddresses.com/about.htm).

It's too bad that it has been become abandoned, but I guess they still have some admins and moderators. I wonder who is still paying for the hosting to keep it online. Maybe someone can contact their host. I'm guessing they are on some shared server where they share resources with other sites.

I was getting the 508 errors on there last night. It's probably an issue with their host and not Cloudflare.

Sorry about the errors.

I deleted several thousand log files and that should have freed up a substantial amount of disk space.

Hopefully that will cure the 508 errors, as I suspect the virtual server was pushing up against its limits given that over 99% of the disk allocation was full.

With the logs gone, it's down to just 10%.

I guess its too many bots connectng like I thought.....
