I don't get that channel, but I'm not sure why they would show only those seasons.
If they had their choice of seasons, they should have picked the color seasons. |

Catchy Comedy Network shows ALL 12 seasons at 2 per day. In those days sitcoms were 30 episodes unlike today's more like 18 so it would take many months to go through all the seasons but I can understand your frustration! I also agree that if a station is going to show only select seasons, they should be the COLOR seasons starting in 1966, the year ALL the networks would show all their products only in color!

Probably because they are still not unedited as per FETV's guidelines now, and they've been readily available on physical media.

In the past, CBS divided "My Three Sons" into two syndication packages. It could be that FETV only obtained the rights to the black and white episodes.
In the 1980s, Nick at Nite showed the black and white episodes and one of the later color seasons. This meant that at the end of Season 5, viewers saw Chip as a married man. After that, the color episodes were mostly shown in syndication on channels like Hallmark. This left a lot of viewers not knowing Bub at all. I think it's nice that Bub is getting his time to shine in syndication again, but I can understand you wanting to see the entire series. |
