In 1985 Keebler launched Tato Skins which were a unique kind of potato chips and to honor it's launch a clever commercial was made beginning with the opening jingle that's at the beginning of this topic's thread. Tato Skins came in different flavors including original sour cream and chives cheddar cheese and bacon and later barbecue flavor was added. This debut commercial for Tato Skins was the first version and then in 1989-1990 a country styled version of the jingle was featured in a second version with animation of the Keebler Elves was added. Despite a huge seller Keebler Tato Skins were discontinued in 1992 but this was a smart innovention in snack foods of the 80's. I always thought of Keebler as a cookie and cracker company and it is really a shame that Keebler hasn't returned to make potato chips anymore because with clever foods like Tato Skins I bet Keebler could return to the chips audience
