Can't Buy Me Love
Who can remember when Patrick Dempsey made a name for himself in 1987's Can't Buy Me Love? I remember hearing about this movie when I had a big crush on Patrick Dempsey and I decided to watch it for myself. And to my surprise Patrick Dempsey was talented for one so young and when paired with the late Amanda Peterson they brought a great movie to life. It's hard to believe that due to Can't Buy Me Love Patrick Dempsey would soon go from teen idol to Grey's Anatomy. Did you ever like Can't Buy Me Love when it first debuted in 1987?

I think that with Can't Buy Me Love Patrick Dempsey knew he had the makings of a teen idol and when paired with the late Amanda Peterson they were a perfect match for a teen movie. I had a big crush on Patrick Dempsey as I mentioned in the opening post and when I saw Can't Buy Me Love I was amazed at how young Patrick Dempsey looked and you could tell that this movie was Patrick Dempsey's breakthrough movie that would rocket him to superstardom as an actor
