The 4 reasons that Garry Marshall gave ABC as to why it should have another chance

Once Marshall heard it was being cancelled after season 3 he told ABC officials his plan for the show if given another chance

1. Have Mork marry Mindy
2. Send them to Planet Ork for honeymoon
3. Have them have a baby
4. Baby would be played by Jonathan Winters

ABC like the idea and put the show on the schedule and out of the first 5 eps of the season, the show ranked in top 20........twice. So the show had a good start to the season but I guess it became too weird and it fell off again

It says Jonathan Winters will appear in about 7 episodes but it ended up being way more than that.

He was also Mindy’s uncle in season 3 before becoming her kid in season 4. Here’s the promo for that:

It stated Nov 5, 1981 which would have been episode #5. But you said it was more than that? This below is for Nov 5, 1981

22 episodes in season 4 and I remember him being in most of them. IMDb backs me up. Yes his first was that date.
