Here's another regional speech thread - this one's for Philly!

Yo! - "Hello," "How are you?", "Goodbye," and "Peace."

My North Philly dad was always talking about the Iggles.
He appriciated the Iggles strenths. Also, that "meet me at the Iggle" was a common thing. I think there was also one outside the Wanamaker's at Cherry Hill Mall (South Jersey). |

Yes, we went to that one more often than Cherry Hill when I was little.
i remember my mother and her friend went to Weight Watchers meetings there, and after that, they ate lunch at the Hot Shoppes cafeteria. |
