I saw a commercial for The Home Depot that aired in 1992 that used the jingle/slogan,
"Home Depot Home Depot" "Low Prices Are Just The Beginning" And I would love to know the history of how this iconic jingle/slogan began in commercials for The Home Depot? Was The Home Depot trying to gain an audience with an interesting jingle/slogan for their commercials or were they hoping to have competition with Ace Hardware when it came to commercial jingles? Because it is interesting that The Home Depot still uses the slogan Just The Beginning and I think in my eyes The Home Depot wanted to copy Ace Hardware in it's commercials and by using this jingle/slogan The Home Depot really was hoping to make it big in hardware store chains |
