Just to clarify, there was no nudity on the Brady Bunch. And the discussion scene was never banned, although it was edited out on one or more stations (not including MeTV).

More than likely, any TV station(s) that cut it out viewed as unnecessary to the episode and removed it for time purposes.

Exactly. I remember seeing the scene in syndication in the late 1970s. It got chopped up and removed just like the countless other scenes when networks got greedy playing more and more commercials.
Nudity was not the issue. It was the fact of children swimming nude in the neighbors swimming pool who would be there and be nude too. Those parents would be arrested today even though they may not have had a sexual interest in the children. Its really a time stamp because in the groovy early 70s it was not that taboo.
