The European 1988 Volkswagen lineup, plus the Corrado (left, center), which had yet to be introduced. It mirrors the North American lineup, with two exceptions; the European lineup had the Polo coupe (in red) and the Polo hatchback (right, bottom) one size below the Golf, while the North American lineup's model one size below the Golf was the Brazilian Fox. Also, the third-generation Passat sedan and wagon (top) would not come to the U.S. and Canada until 1990.

I don't really get out a lot. When I do go out, I couldn't be happier. I love being in a nice milieu. I'm as happy as a clam. Just as long as I'm not in some club playing hip-hop. You hear that sort of thing in a lot of places. That's not my milieu. Rock and roll is good-time music. I love rock. So did my parents. |
