I go out in the boat with my husband, he fishes and I take a book to read. We also ride the motorcycle in the summer. And I like to go on short hikes in some of the nearby parks and we have more get-togethers with lots of grilling in the summer.

Talking about the discomforts of camping out, and all the work it takes, my friend and I agreed it's mostly a West Coast thing. I tried it once and that was enough, give me a clean warm motel/hotel and let them wait on me. Essentially, people take their kitchens to the woods and work.
I loved all the road trips I've done, going to interesting places, eating different foods, and then checking into a motel for a good night's sleep. |
