Just came to me. Cause like I said I honestly like them both, and have lots of clothes of both. And dolls and plush toys. But apparently my love of Hello Kitty and Strawberry Shortcake isn't shared. My thread isn't going over so well. Whoever the two who voted for SS and Howierules is all.

They are really popular here in LA. I really thought it would be of Interest to some of the ladies on SO.

Check out Dues post on the What's your ethnicity thread. He thinks he's American but not sure and doesn't know how to find out? I don't think he knows what ethnicity means. The only people of American ethnicity are Indigenous/native Americans , everyone else/ our relatives started somewhere else.

Debating if I should explain it to him ? Surely he must know what nationality his ancestors were right?

Oh wow. Speaking of Helen Reddy . The mention of Helen Reddy on that other thread about songs that we most associate with the singers.

She is guest starring on Diagnosis Murder. Of course older it's from the early 2000's, as opposed to the 70's when she was popular. I didn't recognize her till she started singing! Beautiful voice. She is playing an old singer who now has dementia. She a pretty good actress too.

And yesterday I saw Steven Spielbeg on Stephen Colbert. When ever someone sees Spielberg the first thing that comes to mind is this move or that movie. But it's not the first thing I think of.

How did Valerie and Steven meet and start dating? He seems so much older than her. But he's a good guy. I mean back than I bet if I got a chance to date him I would, even being older. Not creepy or anything, I know Valerie was of age when she dated him, but definitely an age difference right ?
