Radio takes me back to my grandmother's time although it is nice only to listen to shows. I wish I had a gadget, I don't have tablet, just a desktop, to listen and sit in a chair and listen. HMM maybe I could get them off my tv set.

I Love Lucy, Mama’s Family, The Golden Girls

I don't watch MeTV, Antenna TV, or any of the other retro channels. Instead, I have a DVD collection of favorite classic shows from the 1950's to 70's. I'm currently re-visiting the Mary Hartman series, started watching in January, one episode per evening Monday through Friday. I'm up to episode 95, tonight is episode 96.

Before dozing off for the night, sometimes I'll choose my DVD's of one of the classic black and white drama shows, Alfred Hitchcock, Perry Mason, etc. Those black and white drama shows are great to watch during the night time.

Back when I was a kid, my mom didn't want me to watch Alfred Hitchcock on TV because she said it would give me nightmares. In a way I guess she was right, because now as an adult, when I watch an episode from the DVD's, depending on the episode, sometimes I'll get weird dreams afterwards.
