"Putt Putt To The Pizza Hut"
The opening slogan marked a very important milestone in commercial history. 1965 was the year that Pizza Hut debuted it's first ever commercial in history. The commercial when you first see it is a real laugh of a masterpiece. The commercial debuts with a man getting into his teeny tiny car and drives to Pizza Hut and in speeded-up motion returns back and forth with lots of pizzas then the commercial speeds up again as the man drives back home and eats his pizzas and all throughout the commercial the opening slogan repeats constantly. The commercial then ends with the very first Pizza Hut logo with mascot with the words "Check Your Yellow Pages For The Pizza Hut Nearest You"
This is such great history that I think few people even remember seeing this commercial back in 1965. Do you remember seeing Pizza Hut's very first commercial for the first time when it aired on TV
