Christmas one is fun. Everyone is in it. More comedy than drama.

Sam's apt. Is alot of Max and Grandma, two of your least favorite characters and drama.

Oh cool. And it really was a shame for the actor Michael Lembeck. It must have been stressful when Mac Kenzie had those drug issues, he never knew when he might be let go from the show and out of work. Like in season 6 when she was fired and they had to lay him off because a son in law wasn't really needed without his wife. Really wasn't fair, it was no fault of his. Glad the second time Mac was fired in season 9 , they decided to keep him.

I got a book that mentions it. It mostly just gives the plot so I won’t bother posting that, but it does also have this interesting note that Pat Harrington didn’t like it either.

I Liked the Christmas episode but Ann was doing too much in regards to the cruise. Now I understand her getting him to invite grandmom romano but not no damn schneider and francine. Sam was being real submissive. lol

So Sam was still paying rent for an apt he wasnt living in and was married? Now I can see if he had a house and paid it off but why the hell would he keep the apt if he was committed to ann and still had to pay for it?

That was very weird. In real life that may have been a instant breakup

Antenna cut out two funny scenes. In the beginning Ann kicking a wreath across the living room when she thought everyone was leaving for Christmas. And a scene where most of the cookies were eaten up too fast , and Ann and Barbara blamed each other .

Kind of far fetched though. Such a short notice trip. Coming from freezing Indy to a warm tropical cruise. How would they prepare so quick wardrobe wise? All their clothing for warm weather would be packed away . And you know women, we always would want to buy something new ro wear and have our hair done for a vacation.

Yes. It was strange. And esp. Keeping his phone on? What would be the point of that? Apparently Sam had a pretty good amount of money he could waste like that.

And the story of the really bad fight between Julie and Max is leading up to Monday's episode , permanently what happened to Julie.

Mad About You had a similar storyline where married Paul was still paying rent on his bachelor apartment. But Paul was also subletting that apartment to Kramer, who crossed over from Seinfeld.

Between taking off for the island for a month, buying cruise cabins willy-nilly, and keeping another apartment, by now it’s quite obvious Sam gots money. And he’s also obviously on good terms with his son. Which makes Mark’s overall poverty a bit mystifying.

Yes on Schneider, but the idea was she didn’t want Francine.
