Yeah. I guess it's a good thing it wasn't on regular TV for me to see.

We watched some of the Detroit/ Cleveland game that was on NBC cause it was on.

But now with the Lakers and Sixers out , we pretty much are just going to get into it again when it gets really down to the two teams playing .

Yeah generally postcards mean from a vacation spot. Alex's Mom lived in Chicago I'm thinking? So I guess he stayed with her in the summer and decided to just stay on . Kind of weird at that point leaving his friends in Indy and starting in a new school in a different city. At that point would he have been a Junior ? Or a senior even?

IDK ? Maybe he met a bunch of awesome new friends , better than the Indy crowd !

So, with this 6 episode offer for season nine, was he

- going to still be living with Ann and Sam in the apartment but only somehow be seen 6 times

- go live with Barbara, Julie, Mark, and Max but only somehow be seen 6 times

- his mother moves back to Indy and he goes to live with her and drops by 6 times (like Bob used to)

The last one makes the most sense.

The Pistons are like the worst number one seed I’ve ever seen.

He was probably going to be seen leaving to go to a friends house and be mentioned he at basketball practice. Kind like how he was in season 8 lol

So I see no Ann in both eps tonight. The first ep was so much better than the second one. I was expecting the pretty lady to be the new receptionist and start flirting with Mark but she wasnt. Then when Max said he wanted to be the receptionist I was like....."what?? The actor who played max I wonder why he never got a hair cut? he has so much hair it looks like a wig lol

The second episode will definitely be in my bottom 5 for the season. Max and Julie arguing about him not having a writing job and that bedroom scene with Julie and Barb and the baby was way too long making it the worst ep of season 9 so far lol

Yeah. Ann in neither episode. And the second episode no Schneider. Just the two couples.

Yeah Max/ Michael Lembeck has a good thick head of hair, still does even now as an older man. Lol a wig, but yeah lots of people back than, male and female had big hair. It was the style.

I loved both episodes. The second one is a bit sad being it's MacKenzie Phillips/ Julie's final show on ODAAT. I thought the scene with the baby was really cute and when Julie was finishing the story to Barbara.
